This large face sculpture is located just outside the cathedral of St Eustache.
It's a shame because a few ignorant fools have spray-painted their "sig" on the front and the back of the sculpture. You can see some remenants of the spray-paint towards the top left. But even with these risks I still prefer to see art free in the world rather than locked away in some museum.

Aaron, you are right about art in the open for all to see. There is so much beauty surrounding the architecture of Paris for example. Luckily, the "fools" are the minority, at least I hope this is the case. By the way, what's the total scupture like?

Funny how people feel the need to leave their "mark" around town as if it grants them some degree of immortality. Too bad they don't just pee on things like dogs - that comes clean a lot better than spray paint.
