Well I finally did it. Woke myself up bright and early Sunday morning and went into Paris to do some photographing. I arrived at my first stop, the Louvre, at about 7:40am.
No crowds, no tourists, a chill in the air, and the sun rising to a blue sky. A photographer's dream. (Speaking of dreams, I awoke that morning interrupting a crazy dream ... read my journal for the sketchy details.)

Very nice indeed! The subject here is the building and it simply stands out!The people and the pryamid indicate the relative size of the building but without any interest in the pryamid/people themselves.

Aaron, good for you getting up early. I like the perspective view of the pyramid vs. the buildings. This is the type of subject you could easily spend a day photographing. As the light changes the view changes.
