Aurélie and I had a party at our apartment and the theme was 70's disco. The party was more than a year ago but the disco balls still hang proudly from our ceiling.
ps: This image has been altered in Photoshop to remove the red tacks holding the strings. Not my original intention but I kind of liked the effect, so I left it. pps: Our address is 69 rue du Général de Gaulle, if anyone was wondering about the title.

~I'd go back and leave the red tacks in the frame IMHO, mainly to add a splash of color and an added focal point of interest to the frame itself~

kind of reminds me of a space elevator concept (inspired by a certain Mars book I'm reading) - that is an elevator cable going into space would look quite strange stretching out into the infinite sky.

I like the simplicity of the white and silver. Also at first glance it seemed the balls were standing up rather than hanging down. Cool effect!
