A huge storm had just blown past the lake of Enghien and the clouds were settling down in the distance. A flash fill might have been nice to pick up the boats a little more ... oh well, need to remember for next time.
Anyways, this photo is dedicated to the southern states of America and the islands of the Carribean who have been battered by hurricane after hurricane these past few weeks. Just remember: All things come to pass.

Very nice. Feel like making a bonfire nearby, drinking with some roasted meat!

Almost like a painting. The clouds and the reflections of the clouds are spectacular. The little group of bright houses makes an interesting focal point for the eve.

Great shot!! I was going to say that this would make a great painting but then noticed Kravitz already made the comment. I think this may be my favorite shot yet..well maybe only near the top on my favorites list. Can you please send the jpeg (high resolution) so I can have it printed. Thanks. Love Dad

Interesting boats. Any canoes? Sometimes interest is drawn to aspects of picture that are not so clear. Tres bien! Love Earl and Nancy
