This is the front of the south (west) wing of Trocadéro. This wing of the Palace holds the Musée de l'Homme (Mankind museum) and the Musée de la Marine (Naval history museum). Both are worth visiting altough I'd recommend the Musée de la Marine if you're short on time.

Beautiful picture, great angle and composition. I like the ending sentence..."His appreciated pain strengthens him". Powerful text! Were you down low or lying down on this shot?

Leslie - I was standing up when I took this photo but the statue is raised quite high off the ground, it's quite large ... maybe 3-4 metres in height.
