Living old in wood

I found this old house, complete with a wooden cart and shoes in the window (?), hidden down one of the alleys of Colmar. Other houses nearby were more modern but it appears this one has stood stubbornly against the passing of time. One would think this image was captured in the country side, except for the modern parking lot and parking lines visible at the bottom of the image.
