One of my favourite photos from our trip out to Hilton Head Island. On our last day, Jason, Aurélie and I went out to Pickney Island to visit the animal wildlife preserve (for the second time). We didn't actually see a lot of animals, that is, until we went off-trail and proceeded to get ourselves lost in the middle of a swamp and scare a family of deer, who raced away into the brush.
This image also kicks off the promotion of my 2005 Calendar ($15.99 US), being sold at my new Photography Shop. I know it's a little late to buy a new calendar but it's a year-long gift, so who cares if you miss the first month, right? ;) I personally receive $1 (US) for every calendar I sell, so I figure after about 1000 sales I'll be able to afford my airline ticket to New Zealand.

Forgot to mention that this picture was captured using Jason's polarizing filter and 17-44mm lens.

Spectacular shot - the clouds are perfect and the coloring is great.
It looks a little dark on my work monitor although a lot of my shots look dark here as well but perfect on my laptop.

Yeah, it's a little dark on my monitor at work also. But at home, I've tuned my flatscreen monitor to the Bryce Calibration Guide so I usually go by that.

I was impressed with the calendar. I may have to buy one. How does all this work with the cafe company?

This is really a very nice composition with the polarizing filter. BTW, your calendar was superb.
