There is some ducks in the picture but they're pretty small. They made these great sweaking noises that sounded like monkeys in the jungle and they would run across the top of the water in what, I guess, was some bizarre mating ritual. Or perhaps they were just terrifed of Jason with his 400mm lens and giant backpack filled with toys. He has a similar effect on many humans.

Yes, a polarizer was used ... Jason's polarizer to be exact and his 17-40mm lens as well! Heheh ... I was scamming equipment everywhere I could. ;)

Right after that picture, we met a couple looking for the alligator... seen minutes earlier by walkers. We thought afterwards that what might have scared the ducks wasn't Jason ;)

Aaron this is one of my favorite shots from that trip. Really spectacular colors and angle here. Nice capture with clouds too!
