I know it's a little late for Christmas pictures but the tree is still up in front of the Cathédrale de Notre Dame (at least it was last weekend) so I figured what the hell. For this picture I recommend the large version to view more of the tiny details. You can see me right in the center with la Seine behind me and Notre Dame herself is visible curving along the right hand side of this crazy ball.

Nice background colors - the blue and reds look great with the silver of the ball and reflection.

@Benny: Benny, it is different but I wouldn't say it's better. I really liked the off angle style in your pic and soft colours you captured.
