My mother-in-law, Janette, took me to the Louvre last night (gratuit en plus) ... merci Janette! I had a great time running around taking pictures. This is the bronze portrait of Marcus Aurelius, who wrote one of my favourite quotes: "Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart."
This pic also kicks off the new full-height version of Aminus3, limiting pictures only by image width (and not by height as before). I finally gave in to Jason's constant nagging and have to admit it looks a lot better. =)

Cool....I was going through your previous posts and it seems almost all of them have a professional touch! I am learning a lot of things here!

On the large image format, I thought there was a bug today when I posted my picture, and was trying to figure out if I had done something wrong, untill I read your description above.

Truly beautiful ! It reminds me the broken face in front of the British Museum in London.

cool photo and cheers on the no limit size - this one almost looks large on my tiny laptop resolution!

weird, I thought I was scrolling more. This photo is a thinker imagining what is missing rather than what is present. Bronze and metal art fascinate me.
