I was actually trying to take a picture of the rollerbladers but then this guy came tearing around the corner ... so I threw my camera up just in time to grab this pic. He went on to plow through a group of about 10 rollerbladers before jumping the curb and smashing his car into a news van ... it was horrific. Stay tuned for the bloody pictures tomorrow. Heh ... just kidding. ;)

I knew you were lying even before I reached the last line of your description. BTW, you have left side driving wheel? I thought it was only with the Americans.

It's not lying ... it's storytelling. ;) All Europe drives on the right-hand side ... it's only the bloody English who go left. Freaks.

In India we drive left like the English and I have got a International driving permit without the knowledge of this stuff :-)

In New Zealand they drive on the left as well ... so I guess I'll have to learn quick! :)

Nice shot. I like the way you can look throught the windows of the car.

Looks like a scene from a cheesy 1960's Italian film! good one

Que l'Europe soit un "vieux continent", on n'en doute plus en voyant cette photo. Il ne manque plus que le béret !

I've been for a long stroll through your images - they are really great. I love street photos so this one really caught my imagination. The combination of the old style of car and clothing with that fantastic cheerful expression on his face is wonderful. Sophie summed up the spirit really well. Best wishes, Ian
