Running with the Aminus3 Weekend Oldies theme ... this picture was taken back on the 18th July, 2004 during a day trip out to the coasts of Normandy with my wife and my parents.

Was this the setting of any part of the war aSa? I know Normandy was heavily used in WWII but this area in particular?

Incredible that you could stand on the grass and just topple over the hillside into the English Channel. The houses look expensive.

Harlem - Yes, this area was involved in the war ... in fact, you can see one of the beach bunkers (used to protect against invasion) built into the hillside.
