She met up with us just outside one of the villages and proceeded to follow us up into the mountains as we hiked to the next village. It was a solid 40-minute walk just to get up there but she never faltered. And when we reached our destination and turned around to go back down, she was right there beside us. She would often run off into the forest, disappearing for a while but you could always hear her bell ringing in the distance. What a life! With miles upon miles to roam and no restrictions, she was a very happy dog.

We had a great time with this dog. He/she loved the snow. Nice catch of her/his attitude :)

I like snow, but not bells around my neck.

what a cute dog! Leslie's parents dogs love to walk with you too without a leash they roam the neighborhood at your side until they run off to chase vermin... of course oklahoma is a lot flatter and warmer than the snowy mountains.
I want to see hutch in bells...

Heheh ... the second comment by Aurélie is actually by me (forgot to change the name). In any case, Hutch's comment is not normal.

Nice looking dog, Aaron. What breed of dog is this? It looks like a cross between a Lab and Schnauser.(long hair on snout)
