This is a view from the swamps of séez, the same swamps that Hervé referred to in my 3-day picture of Bourg St. Maurice.

At the left of the picture, you can see the 3 antenna of the famous Monster Of the Samp of Séez (M.O.S.S.). A very dreadful monster who eats tourists when they take a bath in his swamp. Mysteriously, he stopped to eat tourists when I left this area. But I swear, I had nothing to do with it! ;)

I understand now the screams we heard when we were there ! certainly some tourist who walked too close ;)

Damn! I can't believe I was that close to the MOSS and lived to survive! Now that I think about it, I do remember feeling very cold and there was a slight prickly of the hairs on the back of my neck!!

Does it affect the people who see this picture? I am feeling hungry suddenly.

Remember me, that I don't go to the Swamps of Séez. I don't want to be a steak for a monster.

Hooooooo! I know this story... The monster only appears once a year... in grieving memory of his beloved "wife"... dead... slaughtered by an inhabitant... Scary!

And I thought the loch ness monster was scary - this one seems a lot worse!

A local proverb says : "If you do not watch out the MOSS, the MOSS is always watching you ! So beware the MOSS !".
Nevertheless, Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Séez are quite nice places.
