We went into Paris Saturday night to celebrate Siba's 30th birthday. The rendez-vous was at St. Michel and while we were waiting I took some photos. Here is Aurélie wearing her super chic sunglasses ... be sure to check out the reflection in the lenses.

Note: In reality, Aurélie's skin is not this perfect. Using Photoshop, I've smoothed out a few spots in her complexion and lightened everything using the red channel layer. And (upon request) I also tinted her lips to be slightly more purple. So for all you girls out there, if you think the women in magazines have the perfect skin ... just remember, it's all Photoshop. ;)

I agree on the note! I need to learn this Photoshop skills for my self-portrait shots. Long back Nadege had sent a link which also gave exceptional examples of creating good looking skin with Photoshop.
Aaron, you have this distinctive style of placing a person on the extreme left/right of your composition.

Well, I can no longer pretend I have a perfect skin (without make-up !) neither perfect lips ... I guess I can not pretend this is me at all ! ;)
Aaron, who's that girl ?

Aurélie ... these little tricks do not hurt! And we can definitely tell it is you! Congrats to Aaron for another great shot of his beautiful wife. Love the reflection on the sunglasses (also one of Aaron's trademarks)...

Aaron and Aurelie make a great team. I love seeing Aurelie in Aaron's shots. While his focus is on her the surroundings add to making the image interesting.

Actually, this isn't Aurélie at all ... it's Siba and I just used Photoshop to change her hair and her eyes and her nose and her mouth. ;)
Shuva, yes I am addicted to the left/right portrait shots. I enjoy integrating people with the environment and a lot of time, I'll think about the background more than the subject itself. :)

The glasses and the photoshop tricks make this one a high fasion shot - the background and Aurélie bring it all together for a glamour moment Paris style.

Beautiful...photoshop or no photoshop!! I'm fascinated with the row of motorcycles or bikes placed in the picture and how that contrasts with the "lone biker" pedaling by. Also agree with Steve, its cool to see so many Aaron/Aurelie photos showcasing Paris.
