Here's me forcing myself to take pictures of people. There is a high number of Asian immigrants in New Zealand (just like there's a high number of European immigrants). Almost everyone we've met so far has been 1st or 2nd generation Kiwi ... probably one of the reasons they are so open to new arrivals like me and Aurelie. Notice the giant bungee ride in the background (I think it's out of service until the summer).

I get to experience the diagonal street crossing every morning ... you know like you see in the big Asians cities like Hong Kong. That's so funny. The challenge is to make your way to the other side without bumping into people coming from right, left and front ... I love it! ;)
This picture does not actually show the diagonal crossing but it made me think of it.

NZ has very different kind of scenery. One day it's green grass, today it's a very modern town.
That seems to be very interresting.
Aurelie, I understand what you mean with the difficulty to cross a road. In some country I visited, I deliberate with myself to known if it's really a good idea to cross the street.

As Nadege said... it looks like a great mix of big city living with scenic nature all around - the perfect place for Aaron and Aurélie to live and adventure!

I like the different sort of layers in this pic: different kinds of architecture, reflections, movement and the blue sky. It's a great mixture!
