Actually, the turtle was flying over the rock but miscalculated its trajectory and crashed on it ! A part of the rock exploded at the impact, but the turtle is safe thanks to its shell !

Dammm it! Its was just the high tide that the turtle reached at this place. He/she is waiting for the tide to come again.

Intriguing shot! Turtles wouldn't normally tolerate this position. They don't like to be on their backs nor do they like it when their feet can touch only air. Perhaps a boater or fisherman placed this poor little guy in this position or he was a victim of the tide as he slept. His facial expression suggests he is either resigned to his fate or unaware of it. This shot should be entered in a nature photography contest.
