These cockatoos of Sydney were insane! When they weren't hanging upside down from branches, they were flying around, screeching at each other. They were quite tame and would not hesitate to eat from your hand if you had something good to offer.

Oh yes. They are actually cockatoos, and they rule the roost--quite literally. Sometimes they congregate by the hundreds, especially when night falls. This is a splendid photo.

crazy - i had not heard about the Sydney cockatoo contingency! Great shot - too bad there is not any catch light in his eye - you could always add a little one in photoshop ;-)
