When humans eventually colonize Mars, the Earth will appear to be just another star in the sky, a small reminder of home. When I think about those future colonists and how far they will travel from the people they love, it puts things into perspective. Living here in New Zealand with Aurelie is indeed a fair distance from either Canada or France but we're on the same planet, so we can't be that far away.

I guess the giant mushrooms where somewhere not far from this place, on the Moon. That explains why there are no more sheeps in your photos : they cannot live in space. If you stay a long time on the moon, you might meet the Munchausen Baron. SAy him hello for me ! :)

I think about space travel and how clostrophobic it must be - it's not like you can step outside into the fresh air... in fact in space there is not much fresh air at all!
