A different perspective of the View from Mount Eden. After I took this picture I sat down under the tree and read a few chapters from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. My friend Brett Jensen recommended the series to me a while ago. So at the airport in London, I remembered his advice and picked up the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I ended up reading all 5 books in about a month (and the sixth book shortly after that). So in turn, I would highly recommend the series to you as they are quite entertaining stories and not just for kids (even if they are found in the children's section).

Beautiful picture of Aukland. Thanks for the recommendation. Another author that I would recommend is Jeffrey Archer. All his books are very good. Have a great day.

Your shot shows us so well that Auckland is just beside nature. This could also be in a travel catalogue for NZ :)

It's very evident that the Lord of The Rings movies were shot in NZ....the grass, trees and overall landscape looks so similar.

Another nice prespective....NZ is all blue and green.

Glad to hear you liked the books - in a similar vein is Susan Cooper's "The dark is rising" series, which you might enjoy when you get bored. Not as good as the Harry Potter books, though, I think.
That is a beautiful photo, love the trees.

Good attention to the framing in this shot. Color is vivid also.
