The madness of pétanque

Continuing from yesterday's picture, we can see that this simple game has taken a bizarre leap forward. No more of the sandy courtyards or the old men drinking wine under the shade of the trees. No more subtle strategy or finetune accuracy. No, no, no ... this is Extreme Petanque, Kiwi style! One player for every boule and then everyone launches at the same time. The closest to the jack wins. Although not required, having an alcoholic beverage in hand is highly recommended to decrease reaction time.
