The two boys were so excited to go surfing with their dad. The waves were no picnic though ... when we went out in the boat for our first scuba dive, we were jumping over 5m (15 foot) waves. In fact, when the second group went out a wave came over and flooded the boat, stalling the engine. They all made it back safe and decided to wait for the tide to go out before trying again.
This picture is looking in the same direction as yesterday's post ... so you can see the difference between 18mm and 200mm.

It does not have much to do with this nice photo, but, given you're into scuba diving now, when do you buy a watertight casing to take nice underwater photos ;-) ? It would be so great :-) (Taking pictures underwater is said to be a good exercise to improve your buoyancy by the way!)

I love this picture. The father with his sons going to surf... I also like the blur effect on the background trees. I'm waiting the underwater photos too! 8)

I like like how the forest comes right down to the beach. Most coast lines I've been to are sand and tropics - this kind of reminds me of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest ...
