Jason, the city centre is about 10 minutes drive by car or 15-20 minutes by bus depending on 'traffic' ... that is never as bad as Atlanta or Paris.

New Zealander in general are very fit and do a lot of sport ... they only drink WAY more than any other nation I know ;)
