A view down one of the main streets of Napier as the sun sets in the west. In 1931, a huge 7.9 magnitude earthquake flattened Napier. So from 1932 to 1934 the city was rebuilt, largely in the art deco style with a few massive apes thrown in. References to these years of rebirth can be seen all over the city.

The play of light (sun) is very good here.Its what is giving a very good depth or layers.
