Last post but better late than never. Aurelie and I climbed the slopes of Mount Ruapehu and wandered around taking pictures. This is also where we found the Snow Demon of Mount Ruapehu.

You found a place where there was less snow than in Savoy ! Strange little house. Looks like its roof is specially designed for lava rain and vulcano explosions ! You must feel very safe inside it ! :)

Hervé, we were lucky to find snow considering it is Summer here :) I like this picture because it shows the desolation of the whole area. You can imagine the lava covering the mounts and land ...
