Look closely and you will see Aurelie walking through the steam. This picture was taken just south of Rotorua at the famous Thermal Wonderland Park of Waiotapu, a beautiful area filled to the brim with photography.

Looks a bit like a scene out of Sewage Monsters From Russia, an old flick I enjoy watching. Highly recommend it to all.

Harlem - Is Sewage Monsters From Russia available on DVD? ... I think I've heard something about it before.

Thermal Wonderland was one of the highlight of our Christmas trip. It is an amazing place. Because the area is obviously an active thermal area, new mud pools and wholes are poping out all the time and they constantly have to change the 'tourists' paths. The colours created by the minerals are absolutely incredible.
This pool is called Champagne Pool. The best colours (intense red and orange) were where I am coming from. Unfortunately, the wind was blowing the steam in that direction making it impossible for Aaron to take pictures. But the result from the other side is not bad anyways :)
