In the background behind Aurelie is the Prince of Wales Feather Geyser and some beautiful scenery. I can't stand the built-in flash on the 300D but I've been too lazy/cheap to get another one. Jason has an excellent flash and puts it to good use.

The dont see any problem created here because of the flash.....its done its job, and done well, the exposure is perfect.

Funny, when I see this shot, first I think you take 2 photos, one of Aurelie, the other of the geyser, and you put together with photoshop.

I had the same thought as Nadege. It is beautiful background scenery. Are you saying that you can not turn off your flash?

Exposure looks good to me although I see what Nadege is saying - it kind of flattens it out. Funny - the two photos you choose to showcase my nice flash were not taken with my flash :) The "make-up" add shot was in a studio with a monolight strobe and a reflector and the "clock diety" shot was with my light tent (which I sold before leaving Atlanta) which has two continuous lights. There are lots of options for lighting but of course in a case like this you pretty much have to use a flash since you don't really have the option to drag lights out there!
