A few weeks back, Aurelie and I visited an exposition on the inventions of Leonardo Da Vinci at the Museum of Auckland. Very interesting to see what he came up with back in the 17th century.
In other news Siba and her friend Nadège (not our Nadège) have arrived in Auckland and will be travelling around New Zealand for the next 4 weeks or so.

There is a guy that has taken some really cool photos of these stick figure men with flames and stuff. I had a link to him a few weeks ago - I think my co-worker Tim can dig it out. Fun stuff! I like what you've done here with the sharp figure in the foreground and the drawing in back. DaVinci was certainly ahead of his time - he must have had some hidden source of knowledge!

One of my favourite pics from the exhibition. It was very interesting ... such vision!
Madhu, the Mona Lisa painting is in Paris in Le Louvre. This exhibition was on Da Vinci's inventions only. They did not show his paintings.
