If I was gay and/or was obsessed with cricket and/or had a mental illness that forced me to sneak through the woods, this is how I would pass my time on the weekends. Calmly hiding behind the trees as my favourite batsman spun another crick off the wood. Please note that I do not believe that being gay implies that you are obsessed with cricket or that you have a mental illness that forces you to sneak through the woods. I also do not believe that all people who sneak through the woods necessarily have a mental illness (although the percentage is probably pretty high). However, I do believe that cricket is an insane game that makes no sense whatsoever.

Just because Canada listed at the bottom on the list in the last cricket World Cup does not mean that it makes no sense to you---or does it?
Cricket is the world's best game --- at least in this part of the world. Both NZ and Australia play this game big time. But there should be more people than shown in this view. Right now as I write this comment England and India are playing in Mumbai with India leading the series so far.
Let me tell you one more thing: BCCI (Board of Cricket Control for India) is now the richest sport's body in the world beating the football body of Europe, which makes the Indian cricket team the richest sports team.

hahaha - this one gave me a good laugh thinking of your fancy prancing cricket peeping. Go back to Canada with your losing team and leave the sweet Kiwi Cricketeers alone!

I don't really understand because I often take picture of criquets and I do not feel insane. Or do not feel able to judge if they are gay, or insane... But if I can give you advises Aaron, you should not hide in the trees to take pictures of grasshoppers, because they are very little animals and it is very difficult to see them on your picture. Actually, I did not see your criquet in the grass. And the picture is polluted by 5 men learning golf in a strange way...

omme d'Oh! Herve.

Shuva - you should know that Canada came in last only by choice! We Canadians judge cricket to be a weak sport unworthy of effort. If it's not played on snow or ice then it can't be good.
and Herve - in the full resolution version, the crickets are quite visible, biting and thrashing around through the tall grass.

Cricket would be a superb sport if only they froze the field, put up two nets at either end, gave the chaps sticks & a puck and called it "hockey".

I like the way you posed this photo through the trees and at a distance. It makes for a postage stamp view of the event.
