Great Barrier Island is actually surprising close to the Coromandel, a large pennisula that extends north from the mainland of the North Island. I have another shot, a few months back, of the Coromandel hidden by clouds. And Aurelie and I were out that way for our scuba diving lessons at Tairua.

Thats what I was waiting for....clouds, huge clouds, the gigamantic NZ clouds. Is it true that there exists a mountain called Sugarcandy Mountains behind those clouds?

I love the lighting. It makes the clouds, sky and earth come alive. I wish we had this clarity here.
