Well, not quite yet, but soon. After 3 weeks of searching, Aurelie and I have chosen this 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house to be our first home. The house is located in the beautiful suburb of Glenfield (on the North Shore, Auckland City). After a week of sorting out finances and building reports and building consents, everything's finally settled and we went unconditional this morning. We move in on June 2nd and we're both very excited. View the large resolution image.

Just in the process of purchasing my first house with the wife too. British prices are bloody appalling though so we're having to save every penny. Congratulations though... owning a house is about a million times better than renting ever could be!

Congratulations indeed! Looks like NZ is on the agenda for a least a few more years. So happy to hear you have found something you will enjoy. Can't wait to see the before, during and after the move pics.
