Trees on the wire mesh

Keep the trees from being free!
Tie them up and bash their leaves.
Burn them bright, make them scream.
When all are dead, no more green.

Clip each branch and dance the dance,
For all we know, they're here by chance.
Each day I laugh and peel their skin,
The final chop, it makes me grin!
