Life on bedside tables

Just playing around with my camera at night. Ancestor's Tale by Richard Dawkins is one the the most interesting and engaging books I have ever read. It suffered some damage during our camping trip last Christmas. The watch is not mine, it belongs to Aurelie, whose mother, Janet, has her birthday today.
