Muriwai Beach, west coast of New Zealand

Another one from our trip out to Muriwai. I have something wrong with the balance juice inside my ears. I can never seem to get a level horizon in my pictures. It all seems to be lining up when I'm holding the camera but back in the 'shop I've got to rotate it everytime (sometimes like 3 or 4 degrees!) ... praise the blessed angels for post-production.

In other news, a warm Happy Birthday goes out to my brother, Andrew, who turns 27 today. Funny enough, I've got a post on Aminus3 from when he turned 25. I can't believe 2 years have passed since I was at the Paris auto show. Enjoy life my friends, for it passes quicker than you imagine.

Beautiful shot Aaron. I must cross the Tasman sometime.
If it is any consolation Aaron, I suffer from horizon skew as well. When at the beach or near a river you have to remind yourself to lcheck the horizon is level AFTER you have framed the 'perfect shot'.

Beautiful aaron, lovely coastline.. i shud say it is a very nice timing on this, its hard to freeze those many random waves almost all reaching the shore considering 1/400s, The foreground is also lovely here. Next time check which ear has more juice from the direction of inclination of horizon then put a pebble or two in the other one it will save the time of Post processing.:-).
