There always seems to be fishermen down here on the wharf. I'm proud of this photo because I managed to work up the courage to ask this guy to pose for a shot. (I'm always quite shy about approaching strangers.)

Aaron, get over thee shyness and go forth, take even more stunning people photos, it only gets easier the more times you do it :) Can never understand why one is soo shy as to ask people if you can take their picture, I mean whats the worse that can happen? They'll say no.....

@Suby: Yah, I know. But I'm introverted by nature so any social contact is a push for me. ;)
Nice aaron. like the skytower there in the very heart of the shot. I took some photos from there 2 years ago. Stunning view.

Very nice and natural photograph. I know what you mean about asking people for poses and even when I do, they usually say no!

I always stand far away with a long telephoto...haha just kidding. I think just a stranger looking at your lens while taking a photo can be unnerving. I like how you have city skyline sharp as well, it makes this shot a great environmental portrait.

Great job mate!! I'm still too shy to ask anyone to pose if I don't know them. So you'll find the subjects in my photos are people I know. "Snaps" for courage mate!! Great picture by the way the clarity is fantastic. You'd never know the guy was posing.

I must admit, I haven't mustered up the courage to ask anyone for a picture, either. But if the worst they can do is say "no", then I may start to push the boat out and ask.
Great shot. Nice blue sky, clean air, clear waters...what more can a man and his camera ask for?

Just tell em you are Captain Frinkle Stand of the SS Destroyer and you need an evidence photo for the time experiment. They should be all for a photo at this point!
Congrats on working up the nerve to ask - I need to do this more in Brussels but first I'm going to learn French and Flemish better.
