I don't know if this is the church of Brisbane. But this was the only one where there was a statue of Jesus outside so I'm thinking this one might be more blessed than some of the others.

I just love the juxtapostion of the old, new, linear, hand-hewn and curvaceous! (whoops, got to put the thesaurus away!). Cool framing and composition - love the halo!!

@Bronnie: Thanks! The halo was planned and I'm happy with the way it turned out ... glad you noticed it. =)
hey, i agree with bronnie - really good composition and juxtaposition! you did a good job of capturing the different textures in the statue and stonework too. the big white building behind is a very interesting addition - god's new house, heaven, a devilish temptation?

It was an adventure scrolling down on this picture. It was quite a suprise to see the statue at the end. Fantastic work with composition and the 3 completely different subjects shown.

@Colour blind: I've got some great scrolling masterpieces in my archives. I need to tag them. =)
Really good shot mate. Lots of emotion in that statue. Nice capture.

When I saw this in the thumbnails I thought it was a surreal shot at first. That's pretty cool how you lined up the windows to give him a halo effect. Great shot !
