And just down there I KNOW there are a whole bunch of beautiful fish, including those stingrays and maomao and probably even a Lord Howe pair or two!! I am so jealous... sigh... Not so sure about the halo above the land mass - is this an artifact from processing?

@Bronnie: Yes halo is from post production ... I'm not crazy about it either but it's too much trouble to fix. ;)
makes me want to sail through the cave what's a lord howe?

Lord Howe's are wee coral fishies that don't usually venture this far south - they have black stripes and yellow and white shading over the body (yellow at top, white at bottom). A pair live just outside that cave and swim-through. Did you go out to the twin wrecks?
