Streets of Fes Medina

Walking through the old city of Fes, Morocco. It was a rare moment when I could blend into the background and take a picture without having everyone stare at me and my camera.

Awesome shot... it makes me feel as though I am coming back home! Some streets of Bombay (now mumbai) still do look the same. Shops selling inexpensive branded (duplicate) products... Sky boxes on old buildings wonderful. This is a wow shot. I like the perspective.

Is Morocco mostly like this or are there many places touched by modernism?

@Shuva Brata Deb: Fes itself is a very two-tone city ... the (modern) city center of Fes is completely different to the old, medina city. It has every appearance of being a very modern city with high-rise buildings, shops, restaurants, and malls everywhere you go. It's quite a constrast being new and old.

@{H} creatives: Capturing people in the right place is always tricking because you've got to setup the scene and then wait for the right people to come along in the right position and hope they don't stare at your camera. =)
