Trying my hand out on some HDR techniques following Pete Carr's guide. I didn't want this image to look over-processed so I tried to keep it clean while still bringing in the ranged exposure.
BTW, shooting this wide angle, that wave is a lot closer than it looks and I had to stand up quickly after taking this shot to avoid me and my camera being soaked.

A fantastic photo of yet another totally awesome masterworks by the GREAT Craftsman. It is so artistic in its arrangement & background scenery. Thanks for sharing this scene with us. Beautiful! I hope to see it in person one day. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful memory from Hahei, Coromandel. The rock seems to float on the water. New Zealand has such a range of nature's wonders.

GREAT shot!! I never got the chance to go down to the beach there as the tide was in and the husband wasn't interested... That is a very impressive rock and you've done an excellent job of capturing it!!

wow. great shot. i don't like HDR shots that look overdone either, but this is great. beautiful, light, color, sky, composition.

This is a wonderful shot. I absolutely love it. The HDR treatment is not obvious; the image looks clean and beautiful.
