Te Pare Point, Hahei Beach

Te Pare Point is an historic reserve at the southern end of Hahei Beach. It was once occupied by the Ngati Hei people and served as a Māori pā.

fantastic shot. great composition and detail. this shot and your 'pillar rock at cathedral cove' for some reason make me think of gulliver's travels and the lilliputians, i really don't know why.

Agree totally with Michael and Melissa. Only I would like to see the piece of sky at the left upper corner (peeping through the clouds) a bit lighter to avoid visual confusion, now it seems to be a piece of wood on a mountain slope, and a second look tells the eye that the horizon is much lower, but I can't get rid of the idea.

@Illuci: It's actually the cloud that's dark sitting on the white sky but I do agree that it's a little too dark and it throws off the balance. Thanks for the critique.
