Coulds over Piha Beach, Autumn

Stormy weather is rolling in from the Tasman sea as winter approaches New Zealand. Piha is the next major beach north of Karekare.

nice shot with the rays and moody landscape... my only slight complaint is the lighting is pretty uniform across the whole image (HDR?) and it might be even more dramatic to darken up some areas or add some fall off light across the frame (like the mountains in the back right) - that might really emphasize the light coming through the clouds and make an already great shot even better.

@Jason Kravitz: Yeah, I would've preferred the landscape to have more contrast - didn't think about adding it myself. Perhaps next time. =)
