Oh yes. They are actually cockatoos, and they rule the roost--quite literally. Sometimes they congregate by the hundreds, especially when night falls. This is a splendid photo.

Have to run to catch my bus ... but a quick comment: LOVE this picture ! there were LOTS of them and as Aaron said, they were just insane.

crazy - i had not heard about the Sydney cockatoo contingency! Great shot - too bad there is not any catch light in his eye - you could always add a little one in photoshop ;-)
