Mother koala holding her baby

Aurelie and I are back from our holiday in Brisbane, Australia. I took a lot of photos (of course) which I'll be posting to Aminus3 over the next few weeks. Figure I'd start it off with a picture of the iconic koala, taken at the Australian Zoo. The baby and its mother were sleeping (the only thing we ever saw them doing) and were so cute to watch.

@Srinivas Koduri: The baby is the face in the photo. The mother's head is in the background and the mother's arm comes around underneath the baby's chin.

Great shot! I don't know why but I always thought koalas were brown. Did you alter the colour in PP?

@Allan: All the koalas we saw were grey in colour. There may also be a brown variety in Australia but I'm not sure.

Nice shot, all we seem to have here is squirrels. Not that I have anything against them, but they don't have the mysterious quality about them as Koala's do. I should get on a plane someday and visit, get my own Koala pictures.
